1. Jellybean Row, St. John’s, Newfoundland
Bright, colourful houses line the streets of the oldest city in Canada. Kids will love spotting all the different colours.
Did you know? Newfoundland is one and a half hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. If it's 10am in Toronto, it would be 11:30 in St. John's.
2. Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland
A UNESCO World Heritage Site with dramatic landscapes, fjords, and wide open spaces. It’s a place that feels almost otherworldly and is perfect for introducing kids to the beauty of nature.

3. Prince Edward Island National Park
Known for its sandy beaches and connection to Anne of Green Gables, this is a great spot for families to explore, play, and learn about Canada’s coastal landscapes.
Prince Edward Island is the smallest and only province you can bike or run from tip to tip. PEI's Confederation Trail is 449 KM of multipurpose trail, great fro running, walking or biking. That distance would take ~ 30 hours of nonstop biking!
4. The Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick
Home to the highest tides in the world, the Bay of Fundy is a fascinating place for kids to see nature in action. Watching the water rise and fall is something they won’t forget. Because the tides are so high, rocks have changed shape to form beautiful formations. Hopewell Rocks are one of the most famous rock formations to see.
5. Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
One of the most scenic drives in the world, with winding roads, ocean views, and opportunities to stop and explore along the way.
Cape Breton is an island part of Nova Scotia. It has the Cabot Trail which is 298 km (roughly 5-6 hour drive) roadway that takes you along the coast.

6. Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia
Famous for its lighthouse and rugged coastline, Peggy’s Cove is one of the most photographed lighthouses in Canada. It’s a beautiful place to explore and take in the ocean views. You may be surprised to learn that Nova Scotia has the most lighthouses in Canada.
